Shah Rukh Khan is known as the "King of Bollywood", and he is perhaps the most popular Indian actor wjo is universally loved by the fans. Shah Rukh Khan was the host of the IPL 2025 opening ceremony and was the one who lit up the stage with his brilliant words of wisdom and his special dance moves alongside the "King" of Cricket, Virat Kohli.

The IPL 2025 ceremony had several performers, including Shreya Ghoshal, Karan Aujla and Disha Patani. However, the moment of magic came when SRK introduced Kohli on the stage and it stole the spotlight from everyone.

Once all the performances got over, Shah Rukh Khan had a special introduction for Kohli, as he called him up on the stage by calling him, "The King of 22 yards."

The two had a light-hearted interaction and they were joined by Rinku Singh on the stage as well. However, when Kohli was about to leave the stage, the KKR owner requested the RCB star to groove on his song - Jhoome Jo Pathan, and the King obliged as the two shared dance moves which broke the internet.

The first match of the season will be between the defending champions, KKR up against the RCB side at the Eden Gardens. KKR defeated RCB twice, last season and will have the upper hand.

Interestingly, both the sides will have new captains as KKR will be led by Ajinkya Rahane and Rajat Patidar will lead the RCB franchise for the 2025 season.
