The Indian Premier League is finally. The 18th edition of the tournament has set off in style with glamourous opening ceremony at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Notably, Eden Gardens is the home ground of the Kolkata Knight Riders and is therefore hosting the first game of the tournament. A glamourous opening ceremony was held ahead of the first match of the tournament.

Disha Patani Enchants Kolkata With Sizzling Moves

The opening ceremony started with Shreya Ghoshal giving a sensational performance. After this Disha Patani took the stage and set the stage on fire with sizziling moves. Karan Ahuja was also line up to deliver a sensation peformance during the show. 

The Eden Crowd were excited and delighted to witness the unparalleled entertainment. After the three sensational shows, the co-owner of KKR and the bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan too the mic and had a fun session with Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh. After this the BCCI officials were called on stage to get the tournament going.

The first match of the IPL 2025 promises high quality and exciting cricketing action. The two arch-rivas of IPL, KKR and RCB will be playing against each other in the game.
