Mahendra Singh Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the biggest public figures in India, having won hearts of people both on and off the pitch. The former Indian captain has given so many joys to the cricket fans of this country which goes beyond boundaries. However, it has been almost four years since we saw Dhoni playing in blue for the last time.

The veteran cricketer played his last game for India against New Zealand in the Semi-Final of the 2019 World Cup, and announced his retirement from international cricket back in August 2020. 

The wicket-keeper batter took his Instagram profile to announce his retirement, sharing a four-minute video compilation of some of the best moments from his 16-year-long cricketing career with a song named “Main Pal Do pal Ka Shayar Hoon” in the background.

Since then the famous song from the movie Kabhi Kabhie became immortal in the hearts of Dhoni and Indian cricket fans all around the globe. There have been several moments when Dhoni was seen singing this song which he claimed as one of his favorites back in 2019.

There is another such video from a brand event in Bengaluru which is surfacing in social media at the moment where Dhoni was seen singing the famous “Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon" song. Dhoni was in a conversation at an event organized by Skipper Pipes in Bengaluru where he mesmerized the audience by singing a couple of lines of the song.

Undoubtedly, Dhoni singing this song is a treat to watch for all of his fans around the globe. Even though there is a huge Cricket World Cup going on in the country, Dhoni never fails to steal the show with his appearances in public platforms. 

It's quite obvious because the veteran cricketer only plays in the IPL nowadays and the fans rarely get to see a glimpse of their demigod. He has not revealed his future plans anywhere as of now but surely fans cannot wait to see their hero back on the field for the 17th edition of the IPL in 2024.
