Gujarat Titans’ star all-rounder Rashid Khan is a key player for his team. Ahead of their second match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Afghan batter was seen smashing a massive six off Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj during a net session at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The match is set to take place on Saturday, March 29 at GT’s home ground.

A video shared by IPL’s official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows the Gujarat Titans squad practicing in the nets. During the session, Rashid Khan confidently hit a big shot against Siraj, showcasing his power-hitting skills and which stunned the GT camp.
Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians Looking For A Comeback
Both Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians (MI) started their IPL 2025 campaign with losses. Shubman Gill-led GT, faced a heartbreaking 11-run defeat against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in a high-scoring game. Punjab Kings set a massive total of 243 runs, the highest at this venue. GT gave a tough fight and managed to score 232 runs, which became the third-highest total at Narendra Modi Stadium, but they still fell short.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) also lost their opening game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 4 wickets. It is worth noting that, Hardik Pandya will be back as the captain in the team; the star batter was banned for the first match due to slow run-rate.
With the stakes do high, both the sides will be eager to bounce back in their upcoming IPL matches and register their first win of the 18th season.
