Amazon X MX Player is here, and it’s making some serious noise with its latest ad featuring cricketing legend Shikhar Dhawan and social media star Orry. This “Superhit Jodi” ad is nothing short of a laugh riot, showing the two as batting partners on a cricket pitch but let’s just say, things go downhill fast.

Shikhar Dhawan & Orry Leave Fans in Splits With Hilarious Cricket Ad

The ad kicks off with Orry strutting onto the cricket field all decked up to bat alongside Shikhar Dhawan. But instead of focusing on the game, Orry is busy living his best life as he takes selfies with the umpire and completely ignores Dhawan’s calls.

As Dhawan smashes a shot and runs for a single, Orry stays rooted at his end, too busy snapping photos. Dhawan sprints to the non-striker’s end, realizes Orry hasn’t budged, and runs back to save his wicket, only to get run out.

Frustrated with the antics, Dhawan walks over to Orry and smashes his phone but the drama doesn’t end there. Orry casually pulls out another phone and leaes Dhawan infuriated and ready to blow a gasket. The other players on the field step in just in time to stop him from losing it completely.

The ad wraps up with a cheeky twist, saying that while this pair is a total flop, the Amazon-MX Player partnership is a “Superhit” guaranteed to bring non-stop entertainment.

Amazon MX Player Takes Entertainment to the Next Level

This ad isn’t just about laughs; it’s also a big announcement. Amazon has teamed up with MX Player to launch Amazon MX Player, a free, ad-supported streaming platform for India.

By combining Amazon miniTV and MX Player, they are offering viewers a one-stop destination for premium content without any subscription fees.

Dhawan Proves He’s Still A Crowd-Puller

Even though Shikhar Dhawan retired from international cricket earlier this year, he’s still a fan favourite. The former Indian opener, known for his dazzling strokes and big-match temperament, is now shining off the field too. Watching him deal with Orry’s antics is pure gold, and it’s safe to say he’s as entertaining in front of the camera as he was on the cricket field.
