While Rohit recently expanded his horizons by launching and inaugurating a state-of-the-art cricket academy in the USA, his recent appearance at the LALIGA EA SPORTS launch in Mumbai is what's making headlines now. 

The event which celebrates the strategic partnership between the Spanish Football League and EA Sports saw a significant spike in media attention with the cricketer’s attendance.

In another image that’s making waves, Rohit, looking dapper in a black La Liga t-shirt and confidently holding a football, became the centre of countless shares and comments online.

For those who may not be in the loop, Rohit's association with Spanish football isn't a new affair. It's no secret that the charismatic opener is a staunch supporter of the Spanish football club, Real Madrid.

Strengthening ties with the sport, Rohit was unveiled as the brand ambassador of La Liga in India back in December 2019. The event marked the start of a new chapter for the Primera División in collaboration with their ambassador and broadcasting partner, Viacom18.

As for the cricketing front, it's brimming with excitement. The Indian captain’s brief sabbatical will soon conclude, as he gears up to don the captain's hat for Asia Cup 2023. Rohit’s troops will take on arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
