Indian allrounder Ravindra Jadeja's family life has been under the limelight for the wrong reasons after the cricketer's father Anirudhsinh Jadeja threw controversial allegations against his wife and the BJP's Gujarat-based representative, Rivaba. 

In an interview given to 'Divya Bhaskar', Anirudhsinh expressed his displeasure with Rivaba's attitude, claiming that she is the one responsible for the deteriorating relationship between him and his son Jadeja.

The father also spoke of the lack of communication with the couple since Jadeja now resides in his bungalow in Jamnagar. Anirudhsinh said this detachment is due to the daughter-in-law's presence and expressed that their relationship would've been healthier if Jadeja hadn't pursued a cricketing career or married. 

Jadeja's Wife Responds To Father's Allegations 

The same day, Jadeja issued a statement on his social media handles and said there has been an attempt from his father's side to tarnish the image of his better half.

Now when a reporter queried Rivaba directly about the allegations during a media interaction at an event, the member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly seemed visibly upset and angry at the question. 

"Why are we here today? You can contact me directly if you want to know about it," said Rivaba, who notably won the Jamnagar North Constituency elections against Jadeja's sister, who contested for Congress Party. 


Jadeja is set to return to the playing field with the third Test against England in Rajkot, his home ground in Saurashtra, after missing the second Test due to an injury.
