[Watch] Newly-Appointed MP Shakib Al Hasan Slaps A Person During Gathering

Bangladesh all-format captain Shakib Al Hasan has managed to create another uproar after the newly appointed MP from Magura-1 was found slapping a person during a public gathering.

Hasan, who contested the parliamentary election for the Awami League from Magura-1, was seen slapping a person who tried to grab the player's arm amidst a massive crowd.

As per reports, Hasan visited polling to oversee the process himself, which as expected attracted people who wanted to click pictures of the star Bangladesh all-rounder.

In the now-viral video, Hasan turned back towards the person, who tried grabbing his arm and ended up slapping the fan in the face, which is now the talk of the town in Bangladesh.

In another clip that is doing round, Hasan can be seen yawning during an election campaign rally and looking quite bewildered as fans take selfies with the cricketer on stage.

The all-rounder is known for his aggressive behaviour both on and off the field, which has seen the player get a lot of backlash from the public.

Ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, the 36-year-old was seen slapping a fan during an event organised by a jewelry brand the player endorsed in Dhaka.

The player, who missed Bangladesh's home and away series against New Zealand, is aiming to play in the upcoming ICC T20 World 2024.
