Former Indian captain and one of the most loved cricketers of the century, MS Dhoni, celebrated his 43rd birthday in the early hours of July 7 with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan following an appearance at the Ambanis' event earlier in the weekend.

In a viral video that surfaced on the internet early in the morning, Dhoni was seen cutting his birthday cake with his wife Sakshi, Salman Khan and some other close friends. 

The 'bhai' of the Indian film industry also tweeted a picture from the celebration, wishing the legend a happy birthday and saying, "Happy Birthday, Kaptaan Sahab!"

In the video, Salman can be seen asking Dhoni to give the cake to Sakshi upon cutting it, which he proceeds to do before also giving it to the actor.

The birthday boy, his family, and Salman are currently in Mumbai for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding events. 

They were also captured entering the venue for sangeet on July 5, two days before his birthday, where he also had a witty conversation with the paparazzi.
