Former Indian World Cup-winning skipper MS Dhoni has been the fan favourite even three years after his international retirement, which is why he reciprocates the love he receives from his supporters. During an event, the current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper recently shared his ambitions to keep his hair long. 

The wicket-keeper batter reckoned that now it takes him way longer to prepare for the shoots as compared to when he had short hair.

Further, the flamboyant batter mentioned that he is only keeping his hair long because of his fans but also confessed that he could cut his hair short any day when he wakes up and thinks that enough is enough.

"Maintaining this hairstyle is very difficult. Earlier I used to get ready in 20 mins, now it takes 1 hour 10 minutes. I'm doing because fans are liking it, but someday I wake up and decide it's enough, I'll cut it down".

Mahi, as he is popularly known, has been quite popular on social media, even though he has been inactive on most platforms for most of the year. Meanwhile, the 42-year-old is quite active in attending various promotional events for the brands he is linked up with, as different footage gets popular from his interactions like this one.

However, the Ranchi-born will be back to lead his beloved CSK in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and will start the preparations in January. Also, he led them to the fifth title this year in the 16th season, which concluded in May.
