Grace Hayden, daughter of former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, mingled with a number of Mumbai Indians (MI) fans outside the Wankhede Stadium on May 6 ahead of their IPL 2024 home game against the visiting Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) troops.

Grace, also one of the presenters for the official broadcasters of the IPL 2024 season, further blended with the fans by chanting praise for Mumbai Indians legend Rohit Sharma.

As part of the Star Sports panel, Grace Hayden attended the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai for Mumbai Indians home game against SRH on May 6. Outside the venue, she also interacted with a number of local Mumbai Indians fans as well as Rohit Sharma enthusiasts.

Star Sports even shared a minute-long footage of her socializing with the fans as they waited in queue outside the stadium. 

At one point of the video, Grace can be seen resonating the popular pro-Rohit Sharma chant of “Mumbai Chai Raja Rohit Sharma” along with the fans of the former Mumbai captain.

Grace Hayden has been actively covering IPL 2024 footage for the official broadcasters for the past few weeks. Her father Matthew Hayden is also in India and was recently seen interacting with a number of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players.

Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, is plying his trade for the Mumbai Indians franchise. So far this IPL 2024 season, the dynamic opening batter has plundered 326 runs from 11 innings at an average of 32.60. 

A couple of months prior to the launch of the tournament, the cricketer was stripped off his decade-long captaincy reign in favor of all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
