KL Rahul’s old TikTok video with former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa and his wife Sheethal Goutham has resurfaced on social media. In the short clip, the three can be seen re-creating an iconic movie scene together in a hilarious manner.

In a seemingly old video, KL Rahul collaborates with then Karnataka teammate Robin Uthappa in a hilarious re-creation of a scene from Hollywood’s 2004 romantic-drama The Notebook. The Karnataka-based cricketers were also accompanied by the latter’s wife, Sheethal Goutham.

Notably, much like Robin Uthappa, his wife Goutham also hails from a sporting background. She is a former professional tennis player, who represented India in the women’s circuit and remained active in the game until 2011.

In the meantime, KL Rahul is gearing up to compete in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka. The cricketer was included in India’s 17-player tournament squad last week, thus signalling his return to the team after injury had kept him out of action since May this year.

Back then, Rahul had injured his right thigh while fielding for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in an IPL 2023 game. He spent his subsequent months at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to attain full recovery in time for the impending Asia Cup and World Cup 2023 editions.

At the continental event, KL Rahul will be joined by fellow comeback men Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer, who also spent much of their time at the NCA this year.

Team India will launch their Asia Cup 2023 campaign with a match against arch-rivals Pakistan. Rohit Sharma and co. will soon be departing for Sri Lanka, as their opening game will be played on September 2 at Kandy’s Pallekele International Stadium.
