Rinku Singh, a talent emerged from Uttar Pradesh and nurtured at IPL’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) camp, recently took his first steps as an international cricketer for Team India. The dynamic southpaw is now set to enhance his senior-level journey by representing the ‘Men in Blue’ at the upcoming 2023 Asian Games in China.

As Rinku Singh braces himself for the multi-nation event, the cricketer has apparently managed to find time to attend Bollywood’s latest celebrated flick ‘Jawan’.

Rinku Singh says DND while watching ‘Jawan’

Rinku Singh, who shares a close camaraderie with KKR co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, recently attended the actor’s latest movie ‘Jawan’.

The cricketer took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself enjoying the movie at a multiplex. The batting sensation also jokingly asked his fans to not disturb him for a while, as he is focused watching a movie of his favourite actor. Rinku Singh wrote:

“DND. Watching my fav @iamsrk love you sir ❤️”

Rinku Singh made his international debut with a T20I in Ireland last month. The IPL cult hero blasted 38 in the game, thus engineering a 33-run win and a 2-0 sweep for his side.

Back in July, i.e., prior to his senior debut, Singh was selected for India’s Asian Games 2023 squad alongside several other inexperienced members. Here is a look at India’s entire 15-player squad set to take flight to China later this month.
