Shaheen got married to Shahid Afridi's daughter [Twitter]

During his playing days, former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi was not just known as a brilliant all-rounder, but he was also quite popular among women for his looks.

Afridi, now 46, is still quite attractive. His son-in-law, pacer Shaheen Afridi, is 23 years younger than him, but for the former all-rounder, the current pacer is his competitor when it comes to looks. Senior Afridi often gets into humorous banters with his daughter's husband, and this time around, he has said that he looks better than his Shaheen.

On a recent cricket talk show, Shahid Afridi was posed with the question of who possessed better looks between himself and his 'Damaad'. Shahid promptly responded by expressing that he had already conveyed to Shaheen that he considered himself to be the more handsome of the two. He amusingly noted that the positive aspect was that Shaheen was in agreement with this assessment.

In February 2023, Shaheen Afridi married Ansha, the daughter of Shahid Afridi. Ansha would frequently visit Shaheen's residence alongside her family. Despite not engaging in extensive conversation during these visits, Shaheen developed an affection for Ansha. Shahid expressed no objections to the union and promptly accepted the proposal for marriage.

Shaheen is currently one of the best pacers in the world. He has played 27 Tests, 36 ODIs and 52 T20Is, picking a total of 239 wickets combined. He will next be seen in action in the Asia Cup which begins later this month.
