On Friday, March 14, India will celebrate Holi, the festival of colours. It is also a special time for cricketers as they too will play Holi as most of the players are in India gathered for the upcoming season of IPL.

The upcoming edition of IPL starts on March 22 when KKR takes on RCB at the Eden Gardens. Ahead of the start of the season, the teams have begun their preparations and are sweating hard in the nets. 

New Zealand And English Players Wish Fans On Holi

Talking about Holi, in the latest events, Sony Sports have released a new video featuring New Zealand and England cricketers wishing Indians a Happy Holi. The video featured the likes of Devon Conway, who turned into a sikh for the video. He also did Bhangra and Ish Sodhi too grooved to the beats of Dhol. 

Further, it also had Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Daryl Mitchell, and Harry Brook. Also, Mark Wood made an appearance in the video. Watch the clip here. 

New Zealand And England Players To Join IPL Camp Soon

Not all players have joined their franchise as New Zealand are currently touring Pakistan at home for T20I series, but most of the players who are participating in IPL, are not a part of the squad. However, they will join the IPL franchises in coming days alongside English players.

Talking about English players, Harry Brook has been at the centre of criticism as he has withdrawn from the league because of personal reasons, which now he is likely to face a two-year-ban.
