Virat Kohli to feature in VHT

Another reason for Kohli’s Delhi visit could be his participation in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is set to play few matches for Delhi, with the team opening its campaign against Andhra Pradesh on December 24 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Delhi will play its second match against Gujarat on December 26.

It is important to note that earlier VHT matches were scheduled to take place at Alur, but recently, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) moved the matches to M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Kohli’s appearance at M Chinnaswamy Stadium is also notable as it will be his first time playing at this venue after RCB's IPL win in 2025.

Kohli recently starred in the three-match ODI series against South Africa. He made 302 runs in three innings with scores of 135, 102, and 65. The 'King' will be seen during the New Zealand tour of India starting on January 11, 2026.
