Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, were spotted at the Mumbai Airport in the early hours of Monday, May 12. Earlier in the day, the legendary Indian batter also confirmed his retirement from Test cricket.

Kohli recently represented the RCB franchise in the IPL 2025 season before the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suspended the tournament citing security concerns in the country. One no exact confirmation yet to be announced of IPL’s resumption, one can assume that the Indian batting legend was likely flying back to London with his family.

Virat Kohli jets off in style

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were both spotted attending the Mumbai Airport on Monday, May 12, i.e., shortly after the legendary Indian batter confirmed his retirement from Test cricket. Kohli sported a casual shirt as he was seen carrying his luggage along with Airport security inside the Airport.


After days of speculation, Virat Kohli confirmed his retirement from Test cricket. His teammate Rohit Sharma also retired from the format earlier this month. The cricketer confirmed the same roughly a month prior to India’s five-match Test tour of England.

Nonetheless, in the ongoing IPL 2025 season, Kohli played a key role for the RCB franchise in reaching the playoffs. The legendary right-handed batter plundered 505 runs from just 11 innings at a splendid average of 63.12 and at a strike rate of 143.46. Belting seven half-centuries in the process, the 36-year-old slammed four of those in succession in his last four innings.
