Tilak Varma Posts Emotional Message For Ritika Sajdeh's 36th Birthday

India’s rising star cricketer, Tilak Varma has shared an endearing picture with Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh on her birthday. He took to his Instagram to share a heart-warming story on Ritika’s birthday. 

While sharing the post on Instagram, Tilak Varma wrote, “Happy Birthday @ritssajdeh Bhabhi. Wishing you a day as amazing as you are. Lots of love and happiness to you.”


Ritika Sajdeh is celebrating her 36th birthday on Thursday. She tied the knots with Indian captain Rohit Sharma on 13th December 2015 and have a daughter named Samaira Sharma. 

Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh is, currently, spending quality time in South Africa along with their daughter. Rohit Sharma hasn’t stepped on the field since the heart-warming loss in the final of the 2023 World Cup. 

Rohit, however, will be making his comeback in the two-match Test series that followed after the ongoing ODI series against South Africa. The Test series starts on Boxing day in Centurion and Rohit Sharma will be seen leading the team. 

In his absence, Suryakumar Yadav led the side in the T20I series against Australia and also in the, recently concluded, T20I series against South Africa. KL Rahul is, currently, leading the team in the ongoing ODI series with the series levelled at 1-1. 

Tilak Varma, on the other hand, is also part of India’s squad for the white-ball leg of the tour as well. However, he hasn’t been able to live up to the billing so far in the tough batting conditions in South Africa. 

In the two T20Is he played against South Africa, his scores with the bat read: o (1) and 29 (20). He also played both ODIs in the ongoing series but couldn’t quite impress with the bat, managing scores of 1*(3) and 10(30) in the first and second games, respectively. 

The Indian batter would be hoping to produce goods in the third ODI, slated to be played today at Boland Park in Paarl.
