It seems like love is in the air as Indian cricketer, Smriti Mandhana, had a romantic response after her rumoured boyfriend, Palash Muchhal, wished her happy birthday. The poster girl of India Women's cricket, Mandhana, turned 29 on Friday, and on Saturday celebrated her birthday with her Indian teammates.

Amid the birthday celebration, Palash, who is the brother of famous Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal, shared an adorable post for Mandhana, calling her "his biggest source of strength."

Here's what Palash wrote for Mandhana on Instagram:

“From the very start, you’ve been my calm in the chaos, my biggest cheerleader, and the most inspiring soul I know — on the field and off it, You’ve shown me what grace under pressure looks like & what quiet strength truly is. Happiest Birthday Smritzzzzzzzzz.”

Replying to Palash's sweet message on social media handle, Instagram, Mandhana wrote:

 “Thank youu my boi.”

When Mr Nags teased Mandhana with Palash's name

Earlier this year, during the Women's Premier League season, Danish Sait (a.k.a.) Mr. Nags teased Mandhana with the name of Palash and brought him up during their conversation.

By playfully teasing her, Mr Nags asked her about any plus points in her life, before deliberately tweaking the statement to "Palash Points."

The RCB captain understood the question, but she, too, tweaked her answer and replied, what is Palash?. To which Mr Nags came up with a spontaneous reply: “You tell me, what is Palash? You turn into Balash (blushing) when I mention Palash.”

Mandhana laughed off and ignored the question as the segment generated interest amongst people as they wanted to know more about Mandhana's personal life. Currently, the India star is in on the tour of England and has two more matches to go before the tour ends. The champion cricketer scored just 28 runs in the first ODI before she was dismissed.
