Shikhar Dhawan's Heartfelt Post For Son Zoravar After Separation Goes Viral

Shikhar Dhawan continues to endure the pain of being separated from his son Zoravar as the affectionate Indian cricketer made a heartfelt Instagram post about him on Tuesday (October 17). Dhawan warmed his fans and followers with a post made for his son, featuring legendary poet Gulzar's verse in his own voice. 

Dhawan, who has been carrying a gentlemanly and philosophical outlook about life in an extremely difficult period after being dropped from the Indian team and battling for custody of his own son following his divorce from ex-wife Ayesha Mukherjee, voiced over the Gulzar verse with a screengrab of a video call made to Zoravar. 

The player continues to win hearts by retaining great composure and warmth when the harsh phase could've easily turned him nasty towards life. The touching post for Zoravar once again reinforced a man made with a heart of gold and brought tears down the eyes of Dhawan's fans.

The Gulzar verse feels great coming from Dhawan's voice and once again lays bare an amusing side of the cricketer's personality which is often lost amidst his on-field avatar of a swashbuckling and intimidating match-winner at his best.

The cricketer has also come out looking great in his interviews and garnered immense off-field support from Indian fans for never showing any animosity towards Natasha and life as it stands. 

On Tuesday (October 17), however, Dhawan left his followers moist eyes with a post for son Zoravar, featuring a famous Gulzar verse, which goes:

"Ek Ajeeb Si Betaabi Hai Tere Bin, Reh Bhi Lete Hai Aur Raha Bhi Nahi Jaata (there is a mysterious sense of anxiety without you, as much as I am learning to live in your absence, I am unable to live without you."



The lines in Dhawan's voice pierced through the hearts of his fans and followers and left them teary-eyed as the post was appreciated with humoungous likes and comments from not just fans but also popular personalities, including former teammate Harbhajan Singh. 1
