Talismanic Indian cricketer Virat Kohli shared heartwarming moments with his fans in Pune as they gathered to greet the cricket icon. A swarm of supporters filled the MCA Stadium in Pune as Team India assembled for practice, preparing for their fourth match in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

Kohli, displaying his graciousness, took time to sign autographs and express his appreciation for the fans' warm welcome.

Following their one-sided win over the arch-rivals Pakistan, the Men in Blue are gearing up to face another neighboring rival, Bangladesh, in the 17th match of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, scheduled for October 19 in Pune. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team have been on a winning streak, securing victories in all three of their previous encounters.

Before the upcoming match, the Indian squad convened at the MCA for their practice session, and Kohli, along with other senior players, fully engaged in the preparations. Beyond their training, fans spotted the star Indian cricketer signing autographs and interacting with them. This spontaneous and affectionate gesture by Kohli was captured on video and swiftly circulated, becoming a viral sensation.

It is being said that nearly a hundred fervent fans were present at the MCA Stadium, passionately chanting "Cheeku, Cheeku," Kohli's nickname, as he honed his skills in the nets. Kohli responded to their adoration with warm acknowledgments.

During the practice session, Kohli dedicated substantial time in the nets, fine-tuning various shots, including lap and reverse sweeps. This was a strategic move to prepare for the potential spin challenges that Bangladesh's spin bowlers may pose in the upcoming match.

Kohli has previously demonstrated his prowess in Pune, with his bat making a resounding impact on multiple occasions. Having participated in seven ODIs at this venue, Kohli has tallied an impressive 448 runs at an average of 64. He boasts two centuries, achieved against England and West Indies at this very location, along with two half-centuries.

India recognizes that the match against Bangladesh should not be underestimated. Recent head-to-head records between the two teams show Bangladesh having the upper hand, with a 3-1 advantage in their last four encounters. This realization is likely to motivate India to field a formidable side, approaching the match against Bangladesh with utmost seriousness.
