Rinku and Priya’s love story reportedly began when they first met in Delhi through one of Rinku’s teammates from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Over the course of three year and a half, their friendship turned into love. Their families met and agreed to the marriage this year.
Priya Saroj And Rinku Singh Gets Engaged In Lucknow
The couple got engaged earlier this month in a grand ceremony held in Lucknow. The event was attended by several well-known cricketers and political leaders. Rinku later shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, saying, "This day has been in our hearts for so long – almost three years and the wait was worth every second. Engaged – with full hearts and a forever to go."
According to media reports, Rinku and Priya are expected to tie the knot on November 18.While Rinku is enjoying a beautiful phase in his personal life, his cricket journey is also going strong. Since the end of the T20 World Cup, he has become a regular face in India’s T20I squad, though he’s still trying to find a stable spot in the ODI team.
In ODIs, Rinku has played only two matches so far. However, his T20Is records are impressive , Rinku has played 33 matches and scored 546 runs at a strong average of 42.00 and an aggressive strike rate of 161.06. Though he hasn’t hit a T20I century yet, he has three half-centuries to his name.
In the IPL, Rinku has become one of the key players for KKR. He has played 59 matches and scored 1,099 runs at a strike rate of 145.20, including four half-centuries.
