Afghanistan's spin sensation Rashid Khan, recently had a thrilling fan moment as he crossed paths with Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt during their vacation in New York. 

Rashid, celebrated worldwide for his remarkable bowling skills, found himself starstruck in the presence of two of India's most renowned and loved actors. The 24-year-old leg spinner has been unwinding during his holiday in New York, coincidentally sharing the same destination as Bollywood's beloved power couple.

Unable to contain his enthusiasm, Rashid took to social media to share this unique encounter with his fans. He posted a photograph where he stood between Alia and Ranbir, expressing his deep appreciation for the chance to meet and engage with these iconic performers. In the snapshot, Rashid donned a black hoodie, while Alia sported a matching black T-shirt, and Ranbir appeared in a grey one.

While Rashid is savouring his leisure time, his recent performance in the Asia Cup 2023 didn't live up to his high standards. He remained wicketless in the first match against Bangladesh and managed to secure two wickets against Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, Afghanistan failed to advance to the Super Four stage of the 2023 Asia Cup. 

As Rashid, a seasoned campaigner in the IPL, looks ahead, he hopes to rediscover his mojo with the ball when he arrives in India next month for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
