Australian captain Pat Cummins has reportedly purchased a 137-year-old heritage home in a Sydney suburb, doing so just before the 2025-26 Ashes series at home. The report further indicated that the home is worth a staggering sum of AUD 16 million (roughly Rs. 88 crores).
It is worth noting that Pat Cummins is currently in a rehabilitation phase to make himself available at some stage of the upcoming Ashes against England.

Pat Cummins has acquired a heritage home in one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs for a sum of AUD 16 million. As reported by realestate.com.au, the house is an 1888 two-storey home which requires renovation.
It is a five-bedroom and a four-bathroom home, spanning 730sq m. The house was previously owned by the Ford family.
Pat Cummins’ lucrative purchase underlines him as one of Australia’s highest-earning athletes. The legendary fast bowler makes over US$2 each year in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise itself. Moreover, Pat Cummins is one of the biggest names in Cricket Australia’s annual contracts list, and he reportedly earns multi-million each year from the board for his national captaincy.
Notably, the legendary paceman also owns a five-bedroom manor in Victoria, where he resides with his wife Becky Boston and their two children.
Nonetheless, Pat Cummins is on a path to attain full recovery at the moment for the upcoming 2025-26 Ashes Test series at home against England. Unfortunately for the speedster, he is already ruled out of the series-opener at the Perth Stadium later this month, prompting longtime teammate and legendary batter Steve Smith to take captaincy on an interim basis.
