Former India captain Rohit Sharma is known not just for his cricketing skills but also for his fun-loving and cheerful nature. Recently, a video of him went viral on social media, showing his playful side once again.

While working out at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy in Bandra, Rohit stumbled upon a couple having their pre-wedding photoshoot. In a light-hearted moment, he decided to join in the fun.

Rohit Sharma surprises wedding couple

Rohit surprised everyone by turning into a “romantic DJ” and dancing to the classic Bollywood wedding song “Aaj Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.” His impromptu performance left the couple both shocked and thrilled. They called it a “once-in-a-lifetime moment,” as it is not every day that a Indian cricket superstar crashes your pre-wedding shoot.

Fans on social media couldn’t stop praising Rohit for his down-to-earth attitude and lively personality. The video quickly spread across platforms, with many calling it one of the most heartwarming celebrity moments of the year.

On the cricket front, Rohit recently made headlines for his brilliant form during the ODI series against Australia. Having stepped down from the ODI captaincy, Rohit silenced critics with his bat, scoring 202 runs in three matches at an astonishing average of 101. His performances included a century and a half-century, earning him the “Player of the Series” award.

This series was especially important for Rohit, who had earlier retired from Test cricket before the England tour. Along with Virat Kohli, he was under pressure to prove his place in India’s ODI setup ahead of the World Cup. While Kohli struggled early in the series, he found form with a match-winning fifty in the final game.

Notably, both Rohit and Kohli are now preparing for India’s upcoming home series against South Africa, starting November 30 in Ranchi, followed by matches in Raipur and Visakhapatnam.
