On Friday, July 19, India all-rounder Hardik Pandya took to Instagram to announce his separation from Natasa Stankovic. The duo shared a joint statement confirming that they have parted ways.

“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest of both of us.. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family," the statement read.

Notably, Pandya's statement came after Natasa left for her hometown with her son Agastya.

In the latest events, Rangeela-fame director Ram Gopal Verma posted cryptic tweets on Twitter where he slammed marriages. RGV took a dig at marriages and remarked that divorces are made in heaven.

“MARRIAGES are made in HELL and DIVORCES are made in HEAVEN,” he posted before adding, “I wonder if today’s MARRIAGE, in reality, does even last as long as the no.of days the parents perform the MARRIAGE.”

RGV also added that having a paid nurse during old age is better than having a wife or getting married.

“A paid nurse is a far better option than to marry for being looked after in old age. The nurse will do it as a paid job whereas a wife will make the old man feel eternally guilty. LOVE is BLIND and MARRIAGE is an EYE OPENER.”

Recently, Hardik made his first public appearance after his divorce on July 20 at a public event. He will next be seen in action against Sri Lanka in the upcoming T20I series.
