MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricket captain, is married to Sakshi Singh Rawat. They tied the knot on July 4, 2010, in a private ceremony in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Sakshi Singh Rawat is from a non-cricketing background and worked as a hotel management student before getting married to Dhoni. 

Their wedding was kept low-key and attended by close friends and family members. MS Dhoni and Sakshi have a daughter named Ziva, born on February 6, 2015. The couple has been relatively private about their personal life.

While Dhoni is not too active on social media, Sakshi often shares glimpses of her life and daily activities on her Instagram handle. Following her graduation in Hotel Management, Sakshi did an internship at the Taj Bengal Hotel in Kolkata. It was during this period, in December 2009, that she had her first encounter with Dhoni. After her marriage, she worked as a Senior Manager at Chennai’s The Leela Palace.

However, she is no longer into hotel management and has venture into film production. MS Dhoni launched his film production company – ‘Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd’ which launched its first movie, a Tamil film ‘Let’s Get Married’ (LGM). This was produced by Sakshi.

According to reports, Sakshi has a net worth of Rs 50 crore. In comparison, Dhoni’s net worth is estimated to be over Rs 1,000 crore. The luxurious farmhouse in which the couple live in Ranchi is estimated to be worth Rs 10 crore. Additionally, they own quite a few luxurious cars and bikes as well.

On the work front, Dhoni was last seen in IPL 2023, where he led CSK to a fifth title. According to reports, the wicketkeeper batsman recently completed his rehab for a knee injury. As per Dhoni’s own admission, we are likely to see him play IPL 2024, which will be his last season.
