MS Dhoni Receives Pran Pratishtha’s Invitation For Ram Mandir Ceremony

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has received an invitation to attend the much-anticipated ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The high-profile religious event is scheduled for January 22 and is expected to be attended by several prominent Indian personalities across sports, Bollywood, and politics.

Legendary Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar have also received their respective invitations from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.


MS Dhoni receives invitation for Ram Mandir ceremony

On January 15, MS Dhoni was spotted alongside a number of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust members as he received an invitation to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

On the cricket front, MS Dhoni is poised to make his return to the field through the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) season. The former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman was last seen in action during the final of the 2023 event, back in May last year at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

While several fans and experts expected Dhoni’s title-winning run from IPL 2023 to be his last outing in competitive cricket, the CSK captain himself hinted at the possibility of extending his IPL profile by another season.

The CSK franchise eventually retained Dhoni on IPL 2024 retention day, thus pretty much confirming his return to the field.

The IPL 2024 season itself is expected to commence from March 29 onwards.
