Mere days after confirming his availability for next year's IPL 2024 season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni was spotted spending some quality with his wife Sakshi and their friends on his private jet.

The legendary wicketkeeper-batsman was recently retained by the CSK franchise for IPL 2024 next year, which might possibly mark his final outing in competitive cricket.

MS Dhoni is one of the few Indian cricketers, alongside Kapil Dev, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar, to own a private plane. Quite recently, the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted in the same jet alongside his wife, Sakshi Dhoni.

Interestingly, the two were accompanied by their friends as they posed for a picture together, which instantly went viral across social media.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni was last seen gracing the field during the final of this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. The cricketer led his team to a historic fifth title win by pipping out defending champions Gujarat Titans in a high-octane Ahmedabad thriller.

While several cricket experts speculated his title-clash outing to be his final appearance on the field, during the post-match presentation, the 42-year-old himself hinted at the possibility of playing one more IPL season for the sake of his fans.

As it turns out, MS Dhoni will indeed be returning for CSK next year as he became one of the 19 cricketers to be retained by the franchise on IPL 2024 retention day late last month.

Here is a look at a list of all 19 cricketers retained by CSK for the IPL 2024 season ahead of the auctions:

MS Dhoni, Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, Devon Conway, Tushar Deshpande, Shivam Dube, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajay Mandal, Mukesh Choudhary, Matheesha Pathirana, Ajinkya Rahane, Shaik Rasheed, Mitchell Santner, Simarjeet Singh, Nishant Sindhu, Prashant Solanki, and Maheesh Theekshana
