Pakistan's pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Aridi is getting married to Ansha Afridi, eldest daughter of Pakistan's superstar Shahid Afridi. Two days after the Asia Cup final, these two will get married for the second time
Some reports are floating in Pakistan media regarding this wedding ceremony. It it reported that the duo can get married on September 19. Post Nikah, their Walia may take place at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad. Noteworthy, earlier this year around February they both got married as per Islamic rituals. This time the celebration can be attended by few notable celebrities, close friends and of course both of their families.
Love at first sight for Shaheen :
Shaheen Shah Afridi is known to be a shy, introverted guy. But he didn't keep his wishes hidden away from expressing it. It was him who initiated the conversation regarding the marriage. The young superstar stated during an interview, that it was his wish to get married to Ansha.
Explaining what transpired him to take such decision at such young age, he shared:
"It was my marriage so obviously, it was me who thought about marrying her. Lala (Shahid Afridi) and my brother have been friends for a very long time, and our elders know each other too. So, my mother went ahead with the rishta, and families agreed."
To note, Shahid Afridi is mostly known as Lala in the cricketing family. Shaheen believes the closeness between two families drawn them close to each other.
When asked what will happen to his female fan following when they see Shaheen getting married, he gave a cheeky smile and replied he is not sure. Ansha may feel something about [jealousy] (smiles).
Interestingly, his father-in-law Shahid Afridi is still getting female fans' attention, such is his aura, glamour.
