India's right-hander KL Rahul, who is currently in Australia for the on-going Border Gavaskar Trophy, is expecting his first baby with wife Athiya Shetty, a popular Bollywood star. The duo announced the good news on their Instagram before the all-important Australian Tour.  

Adding to the happiness, a new video straight from the Melbourne Cricket Ground has left fans in awe as KL's wife Athiya Shetty is seen flaunting her baby bump. In the viral video floating all over social media, Athiya is seen walking alongside Anushka Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy's father.

KL Rahul And Athiya's Love Story

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty's love story began in January 2019, when they met through a mutual friend. Although they kept their relationship largely private, fans got glimpses of their bond over the years. In 2021, they collaborated on a luxury eyewear brand endorsement, and Rahul made their relationship official on Instagram with a birthday post for Athiya. 

The couple was later spotted at the screening of Tadap. After dating for a few years, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty tied the knot in a private ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse on January 23, 2023.
