‘King Shit Lyrics’ - Is Virat Kohli ‘Dissed’ By Punjabi Singer Shubh?

Last year, when Shubhneet Singh, a.k.a. Shubh, posted a distorted map of India on social media, it turned the world upside down. Virat Kohli, who once called Shubh his favourite artist, unfollowed him on Instagram immediately after the controversy. After Kohli, Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul have also done the same.

Now, it seems like the old feud between Shubh and Kohli has re-emerged, with the former releasing the latest Punjabi song 'Safety Off', in which he used ‘King Shit’. While it is unclear whether it was a direct ‘dis’ at Kohli, fans of arguably India's greatest limited-overs batsman took it personally and set social media ablaze.

Unsurprisingly, Shubh has received a lot of criticism, one of which remarked that Kohli's cover drive is greater than the singer's entire career.

It is expected that Shubh will come up with clarity anytime soon, considering how much hatred he has been getting ever since the new music launch for three days.

Since Kohli is one of the greatest players of all time and has a large global fan base, it is understandable that many people were offended by the alleged criticism, particularly in light of the way he made a comeback after a rough patch to reach his peak.
