It's Wimbledon time, the biggest grand slam of the year. The stars have filled the royal box to see top tennis stars battle it out on the centre court. On Monday, July 7, Novak Djokovic locked horns against De Minaur in the round of 16.
Meanwhile, top dignitaries were in attendance to watch the seven-time winner in action. Most importantly, the man himself, Roger Federer, the most successful man in Wimbledon's history, was also in attendance.

Interestingly, cricketing stars also made their way to the centre court. Joe Root, who was recently in action for England in the 2nd Test at Edgbaston, travelled to London to watch Wimbledon with his wife.
Not only Root, but England legend James Anderson was also present to watch Novak Djokovic play. Notably, the two English cricketers were in awe of Roger Federer at the Royal Box and shook hands with the Tennis maestro.

Former West Indies captain Brian Lara also attended the Wimbledon Championship. The legendary former cricketer was present in the Royal Box alongside sports personalities like footballer Chris Kamara and swimmer Mark Foster.
The official Wimbledon account also shared pictures of Brian Lara on their social media. This comes amid Wiaan Mulder nearly breaking Lara's record for highest-ever Individual total in Test cricket.

The Indian cricket team is also in England, and it is expected that several Indian cricketers might soon head to the Royal Box to watch a game of Tennis. In the past years, the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli have marked their attendance and the same is expected in the ongoing edition.
