RCB fans are super elated tonight and they should be since their dream of 17 years came to an end on June 3. RCB lifted their maiden IPL trophy by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs in a clinical show. However, Virat Kohli stole the show with his raw emotions on the ground.

Kohli broke down on the ground after the final ball of the game where Shashank hit a SIX. After the match ended, Kohli however, didn't forget to credit his lady luck for the massive upside in the game.

Kohli Credits Anushka For Cheering RCB Since 2014

Crediting his wife, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli shared his thoughts on the Bollywood actress' contribution and dedication towards the game. As the host asked him how he felt after hugging Anushka Sharma at the end of the game, Kohli didn't mince words praising Anushka's support.

"Anushka Sharma coming and cheering us since 2014. She's a Bengaluru girl as well, so it's special for her," Kohli said.

Regarding the massive win, Kohli poured his heart out while conversing immediately after the game ended.

"This win is as much for the fans as for the team. It's been 18 long years. I've given this team, my youth, my prime. I have given everything I have. It's an unbelievable feeling, I never thought the day will come. I have given each and every ounce of my energy to this team and winning the IPL finally is a dream come true," Kohli added.

RCB Floors PBKS In Clinical Final Showdown!

In the match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru clinched their first-ever IPL title with a thrilling 6-run victory over Punjab Kings in the 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB set a competitive total of 190/9, powered by steady knocks from Virat Kohli (43), Rajat Patidar (26), and a quickfire 24 off 10 balls from Jitesh Sharma.

Chasing 191, PBKS seemed on track at 136/4, but the momentum shifted dramatically in the death overs. Despite a valiant unbeaten 61 from Shashank Singh off just 30 balls, RCB tightened the screws. The quick dismissals of Wadhera, Stoinis, and Omarzai proved costly for Punjab, as RCB held their nerve to seal a historic maiden IPL triumph.
