As cameras panned to Bishop for his customary pitch inspection, the West Indies great, known for his eloquent analysis and gravitas, decided to lighten the mood.

After detailing the track’s pace and bounce, he struck Naib’s trademark pose flexing his biceps and mimicking the Afghan star’s fierce on-field charisma.

Gulbadin's Trademark Celebration

Gulbadin Naib, Afghanistan’s talismanic all-rounder, first popularized the bicep-flex celebration during the 2019 World Cup, using it to mark wickets, boundaries, or victories. It has since become synonymous with his combative spirit and Afghanistan’s fearless brand of cricket.

Naib’s theatrics often fire up his team and fans, embodying the underdog grit that has defined Afghanistan’s rise in global cricket.

Nathan Ellis and Glenn Maxwell have also chipped in with one wicket each.
