Bollywood star Urvashi Rautela expressed her firm belief in the Rohit Sharma led Indian team's victory at the ICC World Cup 2023 final. The final, set to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19, will see Team India face off against Australia, with an audience of over 1,35,000 fans.

Rautela, who has made her way to Ahmedabad to witness this highly anticipated match, shared her excitement and optimism for India's success.

While speaking to ANI, Rautela recounted her experience in Paris where she had the honour of unveiling the World Cup 2023 trophy at the Eiffel Tower. She mentioned that her joy of touching and kissing the trophy will reach its peak if India clinches the title.

“I am very excited for the final. I am sure India will lift the World Cup trophy. I already touched and kissed the Cup in Paris when I went there to unveil it at the Eiffel Tower. However, all that experience will only be fulfilled if we win the tournament,” said Rautela.


Meanwhile, India has put in a brilliant performance in the tournament, maintaining an undefeated streak. They secured their spot in the final after a convincing 70-run victory over New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

On the other hand, Australia, who started their campaign with two consecutive defeats, bounced back with seven successive wins before defeating South Africa by three wickets in the semi-final in Kolkata. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown between two cricketing powerhouses, with high expectations from fans around the world.
