RPG Ground Chairman Harsh Goenka recently retweeted Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan's remarks regarding India's potential participation in the Champions Trophy 2025, expressing confusion about Rizwan's fluency in English. This comes amid India-Pakistan's standoff on the tournament's hosting rights.

Mohammad Rizwan is currently on his first assignment as Pakistan's new white-ball format captain as Pakistan faces Australia in the ODI and T20I series. On the sidelines of the series, Rizwan was bombarded with questions related to India-Pakistan's standoff on Champions Trophy 2025.

He was asked by an English speaking reporter to comment on rumours of India refusing to travel to Pakistan citing security and political reasons. However, Rizwan's response was diplomatic and equally confusing. The Pakistan skipper struggled to answer the query due to his rigidity with the English language.

Meanwhile, the funny video was shared by RPG Group Chairman and billionaire Harsh Goenka, who asked the X users to decode Rizwan's response as he couldn't understand what message Rizwan was trying to convey. The tweet quickly went viral with thousands of views, likes and shares.

Notably, the BCCI is hell-bent on shifting Champions Trophy 2025 to a hybrid model, as travelling to Pakistan is not a safe measure. On the other hand, Pakistan protested against it, stating loss of finances and pride.

Rizwan promised safe passage to the Indian team

In an old video, Mohammad Rizwan answered a Champions Trophy released query in Urdu and stated that Indian players will be warmly welcomed in Pakistan if they wish to participate in Champions Trophy 2025. He promised a safe passage for the team and also vowed to make the event a memorable experience. However, the Pakistan skipper added that the final decision is out of his control as BCCI and PCB are the ultimate decision-makers.
