Gautam Gambhir Meets 'Jawan' Shahrukh Khan; Picture Goes Viral

Currently ruling the box office charts, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is basking in the glory of his new movie 'Jawan' which has hit the cash registers running. 

Former India opener and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Gautam Gambhir took to the social media platform 'X' and expressed his admiration for Khan. Fondly known as 'King Khan', the superstar also is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise KKR, where Gambhir captained the club to two T20 titles. 

The cricketer-turned-politician called the 57-year-old actor 'king of hearts', apart from being a highly-acclaimed actor. 

Here's what Gambhir wrote

"He’s not just the king of Bollywood but the king of hearts. Every time we meet I go back with endless love and respect . So much to learn from u . Simply the best ❤️❤️ SRK @iamsrk"

Gambhir won IPL titles with KKR in IPL 2012 and 2014 before leaving the franchise in 2017 and moving back to Delhi Capitals in 2018. The former India player joined KKR in 2011 before playing for Delhi Daredevils from 2008-2010. 

Overall in 154 IPL matches, the Delhi-born has scored 4,217 runs with 36 fifties between 2008 and 2018. 

Amidst rumors about parting ways with Lucknow Super Kings (LSG), Gambhir was retained as 'Global Mentor' for the upcoming IPL 2024 season, which will also see former Australia player Justin Langer don the role of a head coach.
