Raksha Bandhan, the festival that strengthens the bond between a brother and a sister, is widely and auspiciously celebrated all over India, and the Indian cricketers weren't ready to miss it. From Rishabh Pant to Akash Deep, the busy players worked out their schedule to attend to their sisters and tie Rakhi.

Rinku Singh and PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer too took their time out to unwind with their sisters and perform the lovely ritual in their house. Here's how the Indian players celebrated Raksha Bandhan.

Cricketers Share Loving Bond With Their Sisters

To start off with, LSG shared a picture of players getting tied Rakhi from their sisters on their official social media handle on X. The pictures starred Akash Deep, his sister, brother and Rishabh Pant too, who was seen warmly posing for the camera alongside her sister Sakshi Pant.

Both Akash Deep and Pant had a stellar England series, with the latter even playing with a broken foot during the Manchester Test. While Akash Deep garnered 13 wickets at an economy rate of 4.34 from his 6 innings, Pant bagged 479 runs at an impressive average of 68.43 while scoring back-to-back centuries in the first Test.

Speaking of Rinku Singh, the star KKR player was seen posing with a broad smile for the camera beside his sister Neha Singh in his house in Aligarh.

On his Instagram handle, Rinku reshared multiple photos of the moments from his sister's Instagram account, which was captioned, "Happy Rakshabandhan Bhai".

Notably, Arjun Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar's son, also spent a quality Raksha Bandhan with his sister Sara Tendulkar. The brother and sister shared a glimpse of their charades on their Instagram handle, where the duo picked on each other during a fun Rakhi session.

Star Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer was not excluded from this joy, too, as he wore the Rakhi from his sister to celebrate the day and the bond between them.

While the cricketers take a day off to strengthen their bond with their sisters, Men in Blue's next assignment appears to be after a month as they start prep for Asia Cup 2025. The first encounter for the T20 squad is against UAE on September 10.
