Rishabh Pant, India's dynamic wicketkeeper-batter, turned 27 on October 4, 2024, and social media is abuzz with fans and cricketers alike showering him with birthday wishes. Among the many wishes, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh stood out with a humorous video montage.

Rishabh Pant, who widely gained recognition for his fearless approach, especially in Test cricket, has become a fan favourite. His unforgettable match-winning knock at the Gabba in 2021 against Australia attracted a whole new fan base for the youngster.

As he turned 27, social media has been flooded with memories, tributes, and heartfelt messages for the wicket-keeper. However, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh went the extra mile to put together a humorous montage video.

Yuvraj shared a delightful video clip featuring Pant's lighthearted moments on the field, including his playful interaction with Bangladesh captain Najmul Shanto, his acrobatic backflip, and his dance moves. The highlight of Yuvraj's post, however, was rare photos of Pant from his early cricketing days.

The former Indian cricketer also dropped a heartwarming comment to praise Pant's fearless spirit and called him the "comeback king" in reference to Pant's resilience after a near fatal car crash.

Besides Yuvraj Singh, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and outgoing BCCI secretary Jay Shah also wished him a happy birthday.

Delhi Capitals owner commits to Pant ahead of mega auction

With the IPL 2025 mega auction on the horizon, Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner Parth Jindal confirmed that captain Rishabh Pant will definitely be retained.

He also hinted at Axar Patel, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Kuldeep Yadav and a couple of more players being in retention conversation. Notably, all IPL franchises, including DC, have until October 31 to confirm their retentions for IPL 2025 season.
