Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins melted hearts off the field this weekend, offering fans a tender glimpse into his family life. The fast bowler took to Instagram on Sunday, August 17th, sharing an adorable picture of himself playing with his young daughter, Edith "Edi" Cummins.

While Pat Cummins is globally renowned for his fierce pace and astute leadership of the Australian Test and ODI teams, his life beyond the boundary revolves around his wife, Becky Boston, and their two young children. The demanding international cricket schedule often takes him away from home for extended periods, a reality Cummins has openly discussed.

The Sunday Snapshot From Father & Daughter

The Instagram story provided a heartwarming counterpoint to the pressures of elite sport. The photo, radiating warmth and contentment, featured Cummins fully engaged in playtime with baby Edi. The candid moment, capturing pure father-daughter joy, was simply captioned, "A Sunday Kind Of Love."

Notably, Cummins' family life is built on a long-standing relationship with Becky Boston. The pair began dating in 2014, got engaged in February 2020, and celebrated their marriage at the picturesque Chateau Du Soleil in Virginia on August 1, 2022.

Their family grew with the arrival of their first child, son Albie Boston Cummins, in October 2021. Daughter Edith Cummins completed their family unit in February 2025.

Cummins Spends Time With Family

Cummins has been refreshingly candid about the challenges of juggling his cricketing commitments with being a present husband and father. He's spoken about experiencing "dad guilt" when lengthy tours keep him away from home, particularly during his children's early years.

Having missed significant parts of Albie's infancy, Cummins expressed a strong desire to spend more time at home following Edi's birth. Cummins, currently enjoying family time, is deliberately out of Australia's sight as Mitchell Marsh captains the Kangaroos for South Africa ODIs starting from August 19.
