Unbeaten Haryanvi Hunters will face Lucknow Lions in the first qualifier match of the ECL 2024 season on September 20. The winner of the match will qualify straight for the finals while the loser will get another crack in the second qualifier. The much-awaited contest will be hosted by the IG Indoor Stadium in Delhi and the action will commence from 5:30 PM IST onwards.

A win over Lucknow Lions at this stage of the tournament will help them qualify for the finals with an unbeaten run to their name.

The success of the Haryanvi Hunters group can be largely attributed to the batting brilliance of Rohit Lamba and Keshav Chaudhary, considering the two players have scored the highest number of runs for them this ECL 2024 season. Lucknow Lions secured three wins from five league matches to head into the knockouts as the second-best team on the ECL 2024 points table. One of the two defeats they incurred in the opening round came against table-toppers Haryanvi Hunters.

For the Lucknow Lions, Akash Yadav has emerged as the leading standout performer of the season. He has scored 318 runs from just five innings with an average of 106 to lead the run-scoring charts of the tournament. The bowling department of the Lucknow Lions group has been ably helmed by Harpal Saikia and Ashish Kumar Meena.
