A video has gone viral on social media, in which a dancer, who looks exactly like former Sri Lankan cricketer, Muthiah Muralitharan, is grooving on Vicky Kaushal's trending song 'Tauba, Tauba.'

The video quickly spread like fire on social media, and many users were convinced that it was Muralitharan, who was dancing to the viral song from the movie, Bad News.

However, the truth was that it wasn't the Sri Lankan spinner, but a choerographer called Kiran, who gained attraction and followers after his video was seen by millions of users.


Muralitharan is considered one of the greats of the game. He made his Sri Lanka debut in 1992, and retired from Tests in 2010. He finished as the highest wicket in Test cricket (800), and also is the highest wicket-takers across formats.

In total, he has 1347 wickets in international cricket, and retired from the game in 2011. Post his cricket career, Murali has also taken part in the Indian Premier League, mainly playing for RCB and CSK. Moreover, he has also been a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad coachibg staff.

In present times, the 52-year-old is a part of the commentary team and as an expert on several shows.
