Hitman's Return In Cricket Faces Delay

Retiring from T20s and Test, Rohit Sharma is now only to play the 50-over format as fans are eagerly waiting for his glimpse. Last seen in action during IPL 2025, the Hitman had a standout season, amassing 418 runs in 15 matches with a blazing strike rate close to 150. After that, he is off from limelight.

Rohit Sharma was expected to return in August, but the postponement of the Bangladesh tour delayed those plans. Hopes then rested on the white-ball series against Sri Lanka, but the BCCI rejected the proposal. Now, all eyes are on October, when Team India will host Australia for a three-match ODI series, where the Hitman is likely to make his long-awaited comeback.
