Kavya Maran experienced SRH’s emphatic six-wicket win over CSK firsthand at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on April 5. After Nitish Kumar Reddy launched Deepak Chahar for a match-winning six in the penultimate over of the game, an overenthusiastic Kavya Maran was spotted at the stands celebrating her team’s win.

Her moment of jubilation soon went viral across all social media platforms, as SRH catered themselves to their second win of the IPL 2024 season.


Kavya Maran dances in joy amidst SRH’s run-fest

SRH shattered multiple batting records during their IPL 2024 faceoff against Mumbai Indians at Hyderabad on March 27. Batting first, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma clubbed triple-quick 60s before Heinrich Klaasen’s turbulent 34-ball 80 stormed SRH to 277-3, an all-time record IPL total.

Even Kavya Maran, who was present at the stadium, danced in joy during Klaasen’s six-hitting frenzy.

Heinrich Klaasen’s six-hitting rage from March 27 was not the first instance this IPL 2024 season when the burly South African got Kavya Maran dancing in joy in the stands. The SRH CEO was also at her animated best during team’s opening game of the season on March 23 against KKR in Kolkata.

When Klaasen smoked the eighth six of his 29-ball 63-run knock, Kavya Maran celebrated the occasion with a cheerful dance while enjoying the proceedings from the stands of Eden Gardens.

As has been a case since the last few years, one can expect Kavya Maran to make more appearances this IPL 2024 season for the SRH franchise.
