Mumbai Indians, under Hardik Pandya, snapped their three-game losing streak this IPL 2024 season by upstaging Delhi Capitals in match number 20 of the tournament on April 7. The win also marked their first of the season and it lifted them up to number eight on the 10-team points table.

Despite Mumbai Indians’ emphatic outcome at home, a particular fan of the franchise went on a rampant rant for their team management over the appointment of Hardik Pandya as new captain.

As Pandya continues to bore the wrath of Rohit Sharma and Mumbai Indians enthusiasts, the fan in question also poked fun at head coach Mark Boucher for team’s lackluster record off late.

Shortly after Mumbai Indians completed their demolition job over Delhi Capitals, a fan of the franchise trolled active skipper Hardik Pandya and head coach Mark Boucher over the team management’s decision of stripping away captaincy duties from five-time IPL winner Rohit Sharma.

Moreover, the fan in question also poked fun at Boucher’s 2012 eye injury, claiming that the former South African cricketer is a bit “shortsighted” to foresee Mumbai Indians’ future.

After sustaining demoralizing defeats at the hands of Gujarat Titans, SRH and Rajasthan Royals; Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 29 runs in a high-scoring thriller to register their first win of the IPL 2024 season.

Hardik Pandya and co. will now face the RCB unit in match number 25 of the tournament. The much-awaited contest will also be staged by the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 11.
