[Watch] Andre Russell Promises to Watch SRK’s 'Jawan' After Enjoying Trailer

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and West Indies star all-rounder Andre Russell couldn't contain his excitement when viewing the trailer for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller film 'Jawan' saw an enthusiastic response from fans all across India as it graced the big screens on Thursday.

A notable moment occurred when the Kolkata Knight Riders' social media account shared a video of Andre Russell, who was absolutely captivated by the movie's trailer and expressed a strong desire to watch the film.

In the video, posted by KKR's account,  Russell is seen thoroughly enjoying the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie. His excitement is palpable as he watches the trailer, which has been widely praised as one of the best in Bollywood.

Russell's enthusiasm soared when he discovered that SRK would be portraying multiple roles in the film. He confidently predicted that the Indian star's performance would make 'Jawan' yet another blockbuster. The seam-bowling all-rounder also pondered how thrilling the full movie would be after such an impressive trailer.

"Woww, So he's playing more than one role in this movie. So, I think it's gonna be another hit movie. Definitely like the action, the little funny sides of Shah Rukh. So you know, it's just the trailer, just imagine watching the full movie. Hopefully it's showing in Guyana and we can all go and watch it."


"It looks like a proper action movie. Always have some beautiful ladies in his movies and good actors. The action also looks very very impactful. All guns out, fighting and all these things. Go well, All the Best SRK. As soon I get a chance, I will be in the theaters,"  he added.

Regarding 'Jawan,' fans all over the country celebrated the film's release in a special way. Festivities outside theaters included dancing, cake-cutting, and decorating large cut-outs of Shah Rukh Khan's posters with garlands, creating a festive atmosphere. The SRK starrer movie garnered acclaim from individuals representing various walks of life on the first day of the release.

It's worth noting that Rinku Singh, Russell's teammate at the Kolkata Knight Riders, also visited the theater to catch director Atlee's action-packed movie.
