Explosive Indian opener Abhishek Sharma is all set to tour Australia later this month for a five-match T20I series. However, before taking flight ‘Down Under’, the youngster recently decided to take a spiritual pit stop at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
The Punjab cricketer shared some pictures of his holy visit where he was also accompanied by his family members.

On Tuesday, October 21; Indian opening batter Abhishek Sharma took to his Instagram account and shared pictures of his holy visit to the sacred Golden Temple in Amritsar. Accompanied by his relatives, the cricketer sought divine blessings at the revered shrine, perhaps seeking peace, gratitude, and strength ahead of what promises to be another defining chapter in his young international journey.

Abhishek Sharma will shortly be taking flight for Australia along with the rest of his national teammates. The explosive young opener was recently selected in Team India squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series ‘Down Under’.
Aged 25, Abhishek recently starred in Team India’s emphatic Asia Cup 2025 win in the UAE. In seven innings of the tournament, the left-handed batter blasted 314 runs at an astonishing batting strike rate of 200, plundering three half-centuries in the process, all in winning causes for Team India.
Abhishek Sharma even bagged the ‘Player of the Tournament’ award after the final in Dubai. He will now face Australia in a series of five T20I matches between October 29 and November 8.
