The first four Tests of the latest World Test Championship edition have been completed. While Australia and England had an emphatic start, defeating West Indies and India, respectively, Sri Lanka steamrolled Bangladesh at home, bagging the two-match series by 1-0.
WTC Points Table Updated After Australia, Sri Lanka's Victory
After setting a 301-run target, Australia dismantled West Indies for a paltry 141, securing a comprehensive win at Bridgetown. The Aussies' commanding victory in their first-ever WTC 2025-27 game propelled them to the top of the table, a spot previously held by England following their historic run chase at Headingley.
Currently, Australia and England both have a PCT of 100, claiming the first two positions. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka powered themselves to the third spot in the standings after registering a thumping victory in the second Test at Sinhalese Sports Club. The Lankans are now placed third, with Bangladesh, India and West Indies following them.

Despite losing the Colombo Test, Bangladesh are currently ranked higher than India and the West Indies, courtesy of their drawn match in the previous encounter at Galle International Stadium.
Led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh have a PCT of 16.67, which keeps them ahead of teams like New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa, three teams that are yet to play a match in the ongoing cycle.
Talking about Australia, the Pat Cummins-led side will face West Indies in two more Tests in Grenada and Jamaica. Meanwhile, India will take on England in four remaining Tests of the five-match series. The second encounter of the series will be played at the iconic Edgbaston in Birmingham between July 2 and 6.
Defending champions South Africa will kickstart their WTC campaign with a high-profile Test series against India in November.
