Australian prolific all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner gets big bucks in the Women's Premier League Auction 2023. Adani Sportsline-owned Gujarat Giants have bagged the services of the ace all-rounder for INR 3.20 crores in the lucrative league.
Debuted for Australia in 2017, Gardner has been a vital cog of the Australian side, scoring crucial runs in the middle order and pitching handy wickets with her spin bowling.
The 25-year-old has already won two T20 World Cups, a 50-over World Cup and a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games with the mighty Aussie outfit.
She has already been a popular name in the franchise leagues in Australia and England, being a T20 agent in the Women's Big Bash League and The Hundred Women's.
In the shortest format, the Australian has scored over 1000 runs and scalped 48 wickets in 68 T20I matches.
She is currently in South Africa, where her team are defending their T20 World Cup title. Gardner began the tournament in some style by rumbling New Zealand with her 5 for 12 at the Boland Park, Paarl.
